Why we charge buyers, not organizers
We believe event organizers — bands, venues, and promoters — should keep every dollar of their listed ticket price. That is the DoorSplit guarantee.
To make this possible, a small Service & Processing Feeis added to the buyer's total at checkout. This fee has two parts: a DoorSplit platform fee ($0.50 per ticket + 2% of face value, capped at $8.00 max) and Stripe payment processing (2.9% + $0.30 per transaction).
The fee is always shown transparently before the buyer confirms their purchase — no surprises. The organizer's listed price is exactly what they receive.
